Keeping Your New Tires Performing Their Best
Once your new tires are installed, a little regular care goes a long way toward getting the most life and performance out of them.
Tire Pressure
Proper tire pressure keeps your new tires performing the way they're built to. Check your pressure at least once a month, ideally when the car has been parked for 3+ hours or driven less than a mile. Always inflate to the level shown on the Tire Information Label inside your driver's doorframe, not the number printed on the tire itself.
Tire Rotation
Rotating your tires every 7,500 miles helps promote even wear, extends tire life, and keeps performance consistent across all four tires. Check your Owner's Manual for the rotation interval recommended for your specific Chevrolet.
Wheel Alignment
Even brand-new tires can wear unevenly if your alignment is off. Watch for abnormal vibrations or a vehicle that pulls to one side, both are signs it's time for an alignment check. Bring your Chevrolet to Taylor Chevrolet, and we'll get you back on the road safely.
